Would like to correspond anyone off line who might be using (or has in the
past) two Omni 6's in a manner that allows dual receive,
I am also interested in this subject. I am particularly interested in
using two Omni VI for dual receive on the same frequency, using separate
antennas, and having the receivers phase locked. The VFO/Band switching
oscillators are locked to a reference in the Omni VI. Perhaps one of the
reference oscillators could feed both radios. The BFO crystal
oscillators in the Omni VI are not locked to anything, so some method of
distributing one BFO to both receivers, or syncing the two together
would need to be devised> Perhaps someone has already done this.
I would like to be able to listen on two Beverages (or other directional
receive antennae) in a stereophonic mode with two phase locked Omni VI.
