To ease the pain of old hard phenolic earphones on the head and ears, go to Walgreens or other drug store, and purchase the round replacement sponges for a lady's compact. Walgreens had white ones in two to a package or maybe it was four. Anyway, you get plenty. Mark the center of each sponge you want for an ear cushion, and cut out the material for the sound to have a clear path, ie make a donut. Put Scotch double sided sticky tape on one side of the sponge and stick it to the headphone earpiece. Now you have a cushion that exceeds the comfort of the old rubber cushions you used to be able to buy for the hard cans headphones! Stuart K5KVH |
