That's a mystery. Did you try entering a frequency using the front panel
buttons? Perhaps something jiggled loose or maybe you need to re-seat some of
the connectors inside the radio starting with those that effect the display.
Are you getting intelligence from the audio or is it just noise? It sounds like
you are saying the radio is working except for the frequency read-out. Don't
know what else I can suggest.

The radio is getting power, the meter pilot lamp, LSB and 2.4 LEDs are
lighted as well as VFO A and TIME. There is audio output and no
frequency or time/date dipslay and no response to any button or the
tuning knob. I did not get inside the power supply, I just had it turned
off for a while.
