Go to your local craft store and buy 2 items, a small bottle of white paint
and a small brush. When you get home, give the brush a "haircut" on the tip
to make it flat. Carefully dap the paint on the letters, a small amount at a
time. In no time at all, you'll have lettering that'll stand out big time.

Subject: [TenTec] MY_NEW_OII
Just received my OII. First impressions are:
1. The sweep is much faster than my O. Almost instantaneous!
2. The color screen, wow, it is sure bright. Set mine to "low". On "high"
you can see the OII from down the street! To boot, there are 8 different
color schemes.
3. The band stacking registers can now be accessed instantaneously, no
waiting between presses.
4. Still no white lettering for the power, mic, cw, A, and B but this, I
can
live with.
My Orion is going out tomorrow, 12/28/05, for trade in.
I'm quite satisfied!!! Ten Tec did a nice job and it's made in America.
George
