30 dollars for a manual is not bad. IF you ever had to buy commercial instrument manuals, you would think that a bargain. They have to stock, wrap, ship, and do the paperwork on a manual. If you value your manuals, you should get a wallet type file and put each of your smaller manuals in there and keep them in a safe place in the ham shack, or even dedicate a file cabinet to ham radio manuals and schematics. Or a book shelf. I have a number of lawyer bookcases (with glass doors) to keep manuals and tech books.
