IMHO, marketing may have proved a touch more optimistic (or on schedule)
than engineering, programming, and/or manufacturing.
I for one never expected that these announcements were absolute deadlines,
though it would have been nice.
But, I'd rather see the rig out a little late -- and done right -- than
released "on-time" but not ready for prime time!
