 The real question is with the bands quite dead how are they going to test
it?

As for keeping the beta results "secret" recall what happened with the
"early" release of information that the Orion II was coming. Can you imagine
if one of the beta testers released something like "well, under these
circumstances the band scope still seems to lock up"? Lets indeed wait until
they are all done testing!
