I like the Scouts for mobile use and have used one mainly on 20 meter ssb and cw along with Hustler antenna. It "hears' well and I can work all over the world with power reduced to 25 watts. It is not perfect, but I am a Ten Tec Man what can I tell you. I have two Scouts one for 20 meter mobile and one for 30 meter mobile and will probably buy a few more. Heading up to Atlantic City on Tue and will have my 30 meter Scout in the truck and park on the top deck of a casino parking garage. That location is simply super!! Simple is good. ---jim, K4CFA, Reston, Va |
