The original post indicated that the IMD was zero beat with the incoming
signal. Makes me wonder what part of zero isn't understood. Either it is
zero beat producing a sum signal (Fa + Fb) which is not heard and a
difference signal (Fa - Fb) which is zero, again not heard. Has nothing to
do with what frequency one prefers to listen to CW. If one understands what
zero beat means then I need not explain further.

Apparently K4TAX listens to CW
signals at 0 Hz Pitch...and I thought
I liked a low pitch at 270 Hz! :-)
