On the mac ham radio website there is mention that W6EET has written mac
control software for the Jupiter. http://www.machamradio.com/ maybe he will be working on the same thing for the orion. linux with the gnome or kde desktop can run well on the older PCs that are too small for the bloated XP. if hams would write for linux, none of us would need to use a pc made after 2000. An old Dell can run linux fine, but having said that, I should also say that I have never done the install myself and it may be easier said than done. rob/k5uj _________________________________________________________________ Don?t just search.
