Seems we have a little revisionism on the reflector....
My comment was, and is:
They seem to treat Elecraft with a great deal of respect and fairness.

I think the review was very fair. I bought one a little while after they
first came out from HRO, when they still sold through dealers. I had a few
problems with it and sent it back for full refund. For the price it was a
piece of junk. I might of thought otherwise if the price was lower. Of
course the price per performance ratio has always been high from TT. But in
fairness, it's tough for a US company to compete with the Japanese on those
grounds.
