Hi Charles.

Look in the middle of the screen near the left,

Do you see a "DSP Fail" text or anything like that? It looks so similar to other text you might miss it..

If so, It could be either a firmware issue, or you could have a Logic board failure.

Best wishes.

I have been playing with my new Orion for a few days now. I am running
TRX-Manager and have found that when I have the TRX Monitor window open
after a few minutes the Orion screen will freeze and not update. I can QSY
and the rig changesd frequency and the TRX Monitor window shows the new
frequency, but the Orion screen remains frozen. I can also change filters
and modes without the Orion screen changing.

I posted this to the TRX list and one other user of TRX and Orion had the
same problem. The software author thinks it may be related to a too-fast
polling rate and I was wondering...

- Has anyone else had this problem?

- Has anyone else had a similar problem with other logging/rig control
programs?

I'll give Ten-Tec support an email and see what they think as well.
