Steve, Thanks for the info about the phasing noise. I can live with it and
since the Jupiter is going to be a backup rig to the Orion, it may not be a
major problem for me, just don't like it being in there though. You are
right, there is some difference from rig to rig. I have tried three
different ones now and they all have the problem to some degree but two of
them are worse than the third. I love the JUP's QSK however, and general
ease of operation with the menus and settings. Just wish there was a fix
for the raspy cw note or phase noise introduced into the audio stream of
received cw signals. Getting good reports on the sent cw note so far.
