Yes the NB does work. It is not however a stellar performer
and will do only an OK job with very uniform noise pulses. It
is not intended for random or hash types of noise. So for
typical powerline hash it does very little, at least the type
I experience. The other control NR (Noise Reduction) does
better job with random noise and ligtning static crashes. The
NR however doesn't really help with weak signals that are in
the noise but does great job eliminating noise if the desired
signal S7 or better.
