Jeff,
The following is from pg. 3-10, "Main Chassis Wiring," in the Delta 580
manual:
Pin # Goes to:
1 "T"
2 + Reg
3 +13
4,5 NC (I am not sure that both are NC. Check this)
6 Com
7 N.C. (normally closed)
8 Gnd
9 N.O. (normally open)
When viewed from the back, with the slant notch on the lower right
corner, the pins are marked as follows:
3 6 9
2 5 8
1 4 7
All connections are to connector # 60 on the control board - 80557.
The diagram of connector #60 does not show that both pins 4 and 5 of
the accessory plug are not connected. It shows that one of them, and
they are not numbered, so I can't tell which, goes to R18 on the
control board, and also to the center pin (middle of three) on plugs
#43, offset, and #58, to VFO.
I hope that this is useful, but please don't connect wires to anything
just on the description above. I may have made a mistake which could
cause you to fry something on the control board.
73's,
Pete, NO2D
PS. If I could get my defunct scanner to work I might be able to send
you a copy of the page, but, alas, my expensive HP scanner never did
work.

Can anyone tell me what the pinouts are for the 9 pin accessories jack
on the back of a Delta 580? I loaned my manual to someone and he has
misplaced it.
Thanks,
Jeff
