Yes, the SSB roofing filter should provide improved IMD numbers because it is
much narrower than the 15 KHz stock filter in the Omni VI. The CW roofing
filter has a nominal bandwidth of 600 Hz, not 1 KHz. I believe the INRAD
web-site has numbers on the projected performance characteristics of each of
the roofing filters.
