Additional switching circuitry is involved. My understanding is that all
other filters remain in place and there's a DIP switch so you can have the
4-pole roofing filter switched in with:
1) NAR1 or NAR2 or
2) NAR1 and NAR2
NAR1 and NAR2 may be populated or not. Since I have an Omni V there's only
on NAR filter so only one choice.
Again, my understanding is that the external board goes in the RF line
between the RF board and the 9 MHz IF board. According to George, the only
connections needing solder are 12 VDC and GND. The rest is plug and play.

Where will this new Inrad roofing filter for the Omni VI go? In place of
Y1 or in place of Y2? Changing Y2 will affect SSB TX, unless there is
some kind of additional switching circuitry added. Or will it just plug
in to an "optional filter" position?
