Lee, these are NOT the same, just essentially the same. There should be a significant price difference between the two. Be VERY CAREFUL when buying as some sellers misrepresent the Option 3 as a 6+. Some do it deliberately, while some are honestly confused or mislead. If buying long distance, insist on good photos showing the model number on the front panel, and also the back panel. I'm not saying you should get one or the other, just to know which one you want and pay accordingly. They are both wonderful rigs. Peg KB9LIE in SW Wisconsin (Omni V etc) |
