I do not discount the fact that Tom is having a problem. Whatever is the cause, if it is T-T's problem, I hope they get it solved. I run the Orion with a QSK AL-1200 using the keying loop and have never had a problem of any kind (except occasionally forgetting to turn on the keying loop before hitting the key, which is not healthy for the PIN diode switch). It's been flawless. I don't run 100 wpm since that would be like trying to comprehend idioms in Mycenaean ( as if anyone even had a clue what that would be like) :-) Grant./NQ5T |
