[TenTec] Argonaut V Amp switching

Anybody using an Argonaut V with an ALS-500 or other amp that requires 
external switching? The Ten-Tec radio doesn't have a relay control out. 
I suppose a foot switch or custom box in front of the mic would work 
for SSB (where I mainly need the amp) . . . but what about QSK on CW?
Anybody got a more elegant solution?
