[TenTec] Omni VI+ VOX hum

Has anyone encountered this before, and know a fix?
I have noticed a slight hum with VOX in the recieve audio on my Omni VI+. 
When VOX is turned on, the backlight on the meter dims slightly, a hum is 
introduced into the audio, and when NR is turned on the hum becomes a high 
pitched tone. I have added grounds and rerouted cables per TT, which has 
eliminated several birdies.
