Ive had the 963 over a year now and use it on both the Omni 6/Opt1 and
Jupiter without any such problem on 17 meters or any other band. I also have
the 962 supply but it hasnt seen any action since the arrival of the 963. I
have had nothing but flawless performance from the 963. I never had any
problem with the 962 or 963 so I would look further into other
possibilities, ie the power chord between the two, the connectors, possible
voltage variances, or stray rf. GL
