I've been lurking behind the scenes enjoying everyone's posts, and I find the comments of the last couple of days re the 7800 amusing. I'm fortunate enough to have an Orion, and I love it, but if I was reduced to using the oldest, most unsophisticated radio on my desk, I would still be happy as a clam. It is a great time to be a Ham. It reminds me of being a kid in a candy store. There is just so much out there, something for every taste. Good day to all...think I'll fire up the Triton IV digital and find a CW ragchew. :) |
