Richard, I work mostly 20-10, here is what works for me. Simple my friend! RF Gain 100, AGC to Prog - with Hang .3, Decay 10, Threshold anywhere from about 9.57 to 63.83 BASED ON BAND NOISE and Conditions of signal strength's. VFO A to 10 (Hint you can just press the MAIN RX button to set it temporarily to 100 to move fast to search for signals or go to a specific place). Heil Goldline Mic (With HC5) settings= Mic Gain at 65, Speech Processor at 5, Low freq. rolloff at 150, TX EQ at -8DB. Let us know your experiences as you ENJOY the wonderful Orion. 73, Lee, KC9CDT |
