most noise blankers work on inpulse noise. some do work on some types of back ground noise. the n.b. is a high speed switch and as most know the higher the level the higher the distortion is on the rcvd signal. if you want to kill the back ground noise, you have to go to a rf type noiseblanker i.e. kwm2, sgc 2000, urc35,and rca on their low band fm 30-50mhz equipment. 73 john |
