Actually I'm currently running 4 separate sessions of
N4PY software for the Pegasus on the same computer
along with WriteLog. WriteLog itself is setup for 4
radios, it tracks both the frequency and mode for all
4 of the N4PY sessions quite nicely. So I suppose you
could call it a SO4R configuration.
This coming ARRL January VHF SS will be the inaugural
run of this setup in a real live contest environment.
Note that WriteLog must be 10.43 or later for this to
work, and the N4PY Pegasus version must be at least
2.11. But I suspect that the current Orion version of
Carl's program would be able to the same.
To run these 4 sessions simultaneously I'm using
Windows 2K and have set each session to run in its own
memory space (this is to assure that there is proper
preemptive multitasking between them). Never tried it
with any of the Win9x versions though, so I don't know
if 4 sessions could be made to work smoothly on the
non preemptive multitasking Win9x OSes or not.
