"Marijan Miletic, S56A" <s56a@bit.si> says,
"There was an excellent body of antennas knowledge
in YU culminating in late Branko Popovic,
Hertz and Marconi award winner."
Ah, man, I hate to hear that he's gone. :( ... :(
He was my PhD research advisor at Virginia Tech
in 1968 and 1969. He was on an exchange plan
from Belgrade. I was his first PhD candidate.
He worked from physical reality on antennas
and was an inspiration to me.
He was a truly nice person.
I got to visit him one more time in the early
70s before he went back to Yugoslavia.
I've wondered/worried over the years
how he was doing with all the troubles over there.
I had thought about trying to contact him again.
Too late. :(
Do you have any more information on him?

Ron McConnell
