Back when I had my Orion in August, I discovered that it was possible to
lose main audio by messing with Binaural receive. I don't know if that's
been fixed, but basically, if you you changed the audio path while you were
in Bin RX, you could lose the audio. To get it back required that you go
back to Bin Rx and undo what you had done, sort of like undoing the old
Rubic's cube. I didn't keep the Orion so I can't give you detailed steps,
but the effect was reproducible. I suspect that something in the software
that was supposed to get set or reset didn't.
I've beeen working on writing my own software for the FlexRadio SDR-1000 so
I can appreciate the complexity of the software for a radio like ther Orion.
The user just never seems to behave in a predictable way <g>.
