If you don't have a lot of money go to a hamfest and pick up a 4 ohm 10 watt
speaker about 6 to 8" diameter. Build or buy a cabinet; put foam baffling
material in the back behind the speaker and grill cloth over the front. You
can get grill cloth at a piece goods/hobby/sewing store. If you don't have
time to make one you can get the phono wire and plug at radio shack and
maybe find a ready made speaker in a cabinet at a hamfest. I found a guy
selling PA system speakers in cabinets that way and they work fine. If you
can't find 4 ohm speakers and want to have a load that matches the Omni's 4
ohm output (this is not critical however) you can always hook up two 8 ohm
speakers in parallel with a phono Y connector. Any of these setups will
make a huge difference over the p.s. and Omni built in speakers.
