Feed the loop with 450ohm ladder to a point that is close to entering your
home, install a 4:1
current balun B4-2KX from Radio Works ($59), then coax (8' or more) to the
tuner.

The length of the 450ohm ladder should be cut to 1/4 wave at your lowest band
of operation. If 75m 3.9mhz is your lowest band of operation then the 450ohm
ladder should be cut to 60' or odd multiples of 60'.

450ohm ladder will not radiate, like coax will, because one side cancels out
the other side.

You will still need a good quality antenna tuner. I only recommend using a
TT-238/a/b.
The balun inside the TT is voltage wound, you dont want to use voltage type
baluns at all.

Tune the loop up on any frequency that it will tune up on and have fun.

Happy 2004
