reducing the clicks and sometimes removing them completely by increasing
AGC threshold, which I guess prevents the AGC system from trying to ramp
the noise up to full output between character elements.
You are runing complex system with over 100 dB of gain in about 50 msec
transient mode and it is a miracle that cliks are not audible! We pay all
our attention to flawless CW code. I had similar unrealistic experience on
recent Z3 QRQ championship when I could only follow pauses between the
groups of five characters at speeds above 250 cpm. UA YL champ went to 400
cpm...
