That's my guess also but QST's summary is consistent with the ETR
graph, so it is not an obvious transposition as the IP2 results were.
Will be interesting to see if Michael can help clarify this point.

Could be, but Orion's 1000 Hz roofing filter used in this test does
not have a great shape factor either. According to N4PY it is a 4-pole
and about a 3:1 shape factor. The biggest difference may be the fact
that the older K2 did not have DSP (which it now does) and of course
Orion used a 500 Hz DSP filter following the 1000 Hz roofing filter.
When ARRL's new test of the K2/100 is published, I suspect the K2's
results should be much better.
