Hi Ten Tec Users,
I am cleaning the shack in hopes that St Nick will be bringing me a new
radio. (That was my hope; but it was more like the XYL telling me that if I
don't get rid of some radios it was going to cost me a lot more. I think she
means it this time).
So here are some items going up for sale:
Triton IV Model 544 (Digital) S/N 544-940 . This has the CW Filter
(Model 245) and the Extra 10 Meter Crystals, Includes the Power Cord,
Manual, and the correct fast acting circuit breaker. No microphone is
included. The unit is in very good shape. The front panel lettering is
nearly perfect and no rub marks. The case is in very good shape. The PTO
tunes freely and is very stable. All functions work. Power output is 100
watts. There are no known modifications. The radio will not be DOA but given
its age is sold "as is". This is a very nice radio and I have used it both
on CW and SSB. It would make a great first rig or a super back up rig. The
price is $325 delivered in the lower 48 states ( shipping is included).
Shipping will be by UPS double boxed.

Power Supply Ten Tec Model 252. In the spring of 2003 I replaced all of the
semi-conductor devices (including the Zener reference, the sense transistor,
SCR and the two pass transistors) with ones supplied by Ten Tec. The unit
also has the Over Voltage Protection Device (Crowbar) built into the supply.
This was built by me using the parts as specified by Ten Tec. A Floppy disk
of the schematic for the Crowbar and power supply are included. This is the
cream/woodgrain version not silver. The case has a few scratches but
otherwise
is in good shape and has been used to power the 544. Price is $115 including
shipping to the lower 48 States. It will not be DOA. Shipping will be by
UPS.
A short output power cord is also included.

Atlas 210X with Noise Blanker & DC Cords . I had purchased this radio
to go in my truck but my son has the truck and so I never got around to
installing it. The case and front panel are in excellent shape. No mods and
includes a manual (copy) and two power cords. The power cords are
homebrew --one is short (3 to 4 feet) so it can be used in the shack. The
other is much longer and was intended to connect directly to the battery.
The power out is 100 watts. The radio will not be DOA but given its age is
sold as is. The price is $175 including shipping to the lower 48 states.
