I know Ten-Tec specifies all their equipment should be tied together to the ground lug on the supply, and the supply tied to the station ground. To quote my manual: "It is also important to strap the equipment chassis together with short, heavy leads, preferably shield braid. The strap between power supply and transceiver also serves to reduce voltage drop on the negative 12 volt lead caused by resistance in the connector contacts." Larry, N1SHM |
