Thanks Stuart--I knew a little about them and always glad to read more. My
comment about GAP secrecy was based on other remarks I've read from hams who
have called them up and tried to get answers to questions and reported the
people they talked to were a bit guarded and evasive but who knows, maybe
their questions were unclear and general and difficult to answer.
There's a guy in Mo. who has a diagram of the Titan on a server with all the
tuning rods labeled for which bands they cover to make it easy to adjust
their length for center of band resonance. Like you, I had to figure mine
out by trial and error with a swr analyzer. This is the kind of thing GAP
should be providing customers and may be an example of what's motivating the
"secrecy" allegations.
