By this line of reasoning we can assume that Ten Tec never got the Omni
series to be acceptable because there were so many different variations
(545, 545B,546,546B,546C,562,563 and 564) then they just gave up
and dropped the line entirely.

Was the 564 finally "acceptable" ? (That depends upon whom you ask).
