Ideal grounding theory now advocates putting ring heavy conductor all around the house. Attach to this the power ground at meter, (in addition to its rod), telephone ground wire, and its rod; rig entry panel ground, and depending on how far the tower is from the house, a bond to the tower. However, the tower should have crowfoot grounds from each leg into the earth. Do not allow the tower hit to have a better path back to the house than dissipating close to the tower legs. 73, Stuart K5KVH |
