I'm using an OMNI VI (Opt. 3) tied directly (no Transmatch) to a RadioWorks
Carolina Windom CW-80. The built-in meter shows an SWR of 2.0:1 or less on
80-10 meters except 2 1/2:1 on 30 meters. This seems extraordinary to me
and I'm wondering if: (1) I need to use an outboard S-meter to get a true
reading or (2) the CW-80 and OMNI VI go very well together. Also, I'm
talking CW sub-bands only.
Any comments? 73, John, W3ULS |
