[TenTec] Argosy 525 speaker FYI

Hi folks -
  I have an Argosy 525 that I keep tinkering with. I was not real haoppy
with the SSB on it - although the cw was fb. Last night I popped the lid to
see what the speaker was like - it was fairly worthless. I replaced it with
a JAMECO 9995 speaker and WOW what a difference. It just woke that radio
right up! .
  Also, the Argosy works very well with a Logikey keyer - no voltage
issues - so it's fb.
  Thought I'd would share that in case any of you like to tinker with the
Argosy series.
