I seem to recall that the Motorola marine radio was called a "Modar Triton" and 
this was the basis for the 2 meter version called the "Metrum".  It was crystal 
controlled, had 12 channels, and came in a 10 watt and a 25 watt version.  I 
still have my Metrum (25W) and Vanguard synthesizer.  I got this back in 
1974!!!!   (Any collectors out there?)  73, Bill
