The only PSKmeter I am familiar with is a wonderful RF sampling microprocessor that monitors your PSK31 "IMD" (http://www.ssiserver.com/info/pskmeter/) and automatically sets the PC audio output level to an optimum value so that you have NO ALC action and a good clean signal. It does so over a broad range of HF output freq and audio input freq. It has absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with AGC as far as I know :-) I wonder what device Doc picked up at the hamfest? de ken n9vv |
