Don't know if it is still true, but RADCOM (a/k/a "Radio Communications", the Journal of the Radio Society of Great Britain) used to be famous for bluntly honest reviews. If they found a fault, they reported it. Don't know if this
is still true; any RADCOM readers on the reflector?

You have obviously missed the point!! It doesn't matter what the review states. If it doesn't agree with someones own mindset, it is obviously flawed!! That is the mindset that seems to prevail, or at least appears so according to many responses to this thread. There has been many responses that even compare the radio equipment tests to automobiles, ATVs and guns. Let us hope that all this flak doesn't prevent someone from reporting and posting his own evaluation of a particular RADIO for the list. Let the list reader themselves decide whether they are going to let this evaluation/report/opinion influence their judgement and quietly decide themselves rather than start throwing rocks (killing the messenger)at the post.

Good day,

Jim
