Swap it for my ART-13, BC-348 combo.
ART-13, complete, fairly clean, missing bottom cover (they all are) easily fabricated from aluminum cookie sheet. It's the most desireable model with xtal oscillator and LF coverage. Includes all you need to build a power supply for it. BC-348 or is it a 342, I forget. All original and unmolested with dynamotor and power connector. Also have trailing wire tuner for HF and a partial (someone robbed some feed through insulators) LF tuner. Also have a BC221 in EC so you can be sure of your frequency. With a touch of modernity, you may use the Plantronics headset with carbon compatible amplifier module which I'll throw in to sweeten the deal. I'll ship the heavy stuff, you ship the Orion. Will also toss in another BC348(or 2) that has a very clean
120VAC power supply added.

Just the stuff for your B-17/29

If that's not enough, I'll also include a National SW-3 receiver with one set of wound coils and 4 sets of blanks, a National HFS with full coil set, and a couple of HRO versions with some coils.

Include a pretty but needing a little work on the transmit side Drake TR4CW with power supply, MS4, and
a new set of finals to get a little closer...

All told, about the same $ as new Orion by ebay valuations.

OK, who prefers heavy hot old and appreciating to light, buggy, new and depreciating????
