Thanks for the responses!  I have now set, and will try, the EQ at -17db.
Mic. gain at 50, and the SP at 2.  (Roll off at 150Hz.)
I have the 705 desk mic as well as Heil HM-10s.  I will give the Studio One
some more use and perhaps switch to one of the others.  73, Bill
