My 405 amp is powered by a Model 250, which contains two power supplies -- an 8A and 1.5A, separate, each regulated and fused, but using the same transformer. Both meters (which are *very* bright) dim with keying. Could 405 users comment, please, on whether or not this is common, and if you modified the PS or changed to another PS. I'm getting a separate supply for the Argonaut, so maybe that will clear it up. Kinda hard, tho, to test by removing power from the exciter. TU any help! 73 Gene N7YW |
