The cure for the hardness of the Trimm and similar old headphones is to go to Walgreen's or other chain drug store, (chemist shop for our U.K. readers), and get two of the round flat sponges sold for refills in ladies face powder compacts. Those can be cut in center to form a flat donut, and then place double sided sticky tape on one side and apply the sponge to the earphone cover that normally touches the ear. You will have comfort even over a contest period. I think the sponges came four to a package so you can do two sets or have a spare pair of cushions. 73, Stuart K5KVH |
