Hi Bill and Ron:
I also have two Scout 555's and one 556. I have had no problem with
drift
just monitor the voltage supply, and replaced the fuse holders with auto
blade
type fuses. The voltage drop in the power cord can be a problem. Great
portable radio's. Label the Cw off set for the dial on the modules and go.
