Hmm: No, the only power supply problems I have had with my 425 was a power surge induced rectifier failure. Being a great believer in "hell for stout" I replaced the failed rectifiers with four 14 KV units from "Silicon Alley." No more rectifer problems, and no problems of any sort these last seven or eight years - but if I had filter caps failing I might replace the whole stack with an 80 mike 5 KV oil filled bathtub. Of course, I have one, and it would fit. Barely. 73 Pete "Anxiously Awaiting my Orion" Allen AC5E |
