What I have found to be very effective, is to engage the "NR" set the 
bandwidth to 3000, set the "PBT" to -0500. You can also set the AGC to FAST. 
If you need to knock out ant side frequency interference adjust the bandwidth 
down to about 2850.

Try it out. I use the above on 75m all the time.
