The display problem could indeed be a bad capacitor. I remember an on board bypass in the display board area of the schematic. Thanks Bill, W4NJF for saying his was this, and a fix was to put the rig into keyer speed adjust mode and then back to normal to "fix" it, and that it was seen when the rig had not been used for days. Certainly another easy thing to check, if connections are sound, and main power to the display digits is OK. 73, Stuart K5KVH |
